Question: Can I enter more than 1 exhibit in the same class?
Answer: You are only allowed 1 entry in any one class, unless otherwise specified.
Question: Can I enter a Group Work?
Answer: No, individual work only.
Question: If I make a mistake and enter in the wrong class, will my exhibit be transferred during judging to the correct class?
Answer: No, please take care when entering your exhibits as you will be judged in the class that you enter.
Question: My needlework is a little bit grubby, can I wash it?
Answer: No, exhibits (with the exception of quilts, weaving and spinning) which have been washed will be disqualified.
Question: Teddy Bear, Not Dressed. No adornments permitted other than a bow. Can I have buttons, jewellery, hat etc?
Answer: No, the only adornment in this class is to be a bow.
Question: Can my perishable cooking exhibits be delivered with my other exhibits?
Answer: No, they must be delivered fresh on the first day of the Show.
Question: If I enter my artwork is it guaranteed that it will be on display during the Show?
Answer: No, the selection of display is up to the Judge.
Question: Do I get my entry fees back if my work is not displayed?
Answer: No, entry fees are non refundable.
Question: Can work be posted in and/or posted back?
Answer: Yes, return postal costs must be pre-paid.
Question: Can a designated person deliver and pick up all the work?
Answer: Yes, you will need to refer to the schedule to check what paperwork / authorisation they will need to bring with them.
Question: In the Sculpture section, can I enter a fountain?
Answer: Yes, but it will not be operating when judged and will not be operating over the Show.
Question: I would like to attend the Sydney Royal Arts Preview. As an exhibitor will I receive a free ticket?
Answer: Each exhibitor from classes 1 – 37 (Painting, Drawing, Print Making, Miniature Art, Photography, Sculpture, Ceramics and Glass) will receive ONE personal invitation for this evening. Extra admission tickets may be pre-purchased on the booking form provided or online.
Question: When is the Sydney Royal Arts Preview?
Answer: A preview of all works selected for display during the Sydney Royal Easter Show will be held on Tuesday 30 March 2010 from 6pm – 9pm.
