Answer: Cattle are able to arrive at the following time slots:

Question: When can Cattle leave the Showground?
Answer: Cattle can leave at the following times:
BEEF: From 5pm Wednesday 2 April through to 6pm Thursday 3 April 2008
DAIRY: From 5pm Monday 24 March until 4am Tuesday 25 March 2008
PUREBRED STEERS: Transported at 3.30pm Thursday 27 March 2008
TRADE STEERS: Transported at 2pm Monday 24 March 2008
Question: Can I leave the Showground earlier?
Answer: We will try to grant early leave for interstate travellers only. Exhibitors will be informed during Show-time from the Cattle Office.
Question: Do I get a refund on the entry fee if I withdraw an animal?
Answer: No, entry fees are non-refundable.
Question: Can schools get extra tickets for students and teachers?
Answer: Any additional students and/or teachers will need to purchase entry passes to enable access onto the Showground. For additional tickets, please contact the RAS Marketing department on 9704 1115. These passes may be purchased at a discount rate.
Question: Is there parking at the Showground? How much does this cost?
Answer: Yes, there is Exhibitor parking available at Hill Road (P5-C) for cars, floats, rigid trucks and large trucks. The pricing is as follows per day.
Cars: $15
Floats: $15
Car + Float or trailer, rigid truck – 12 metres: $30
Large truck - 19 metres: $42
Question: Is there accommodation available on site?
Answer: Yes, there are huts available at $30 per person per night. However due to high demand we cannot guarantee availability. Loft and lockers spaces are also available, however there is a maximum of 2 people per loft or locker.
Question: If I win a prize can i collect it before I leave?
Answer: Trophies are given out after judging, cash prizes are mailed out after the Show.
Question: What day is the Steer & Carcase presentation on?
Answer: 6pm Tuesday 1 April 2008 in the Sommerville Room, in the Woolworths Fresh Food Dome.
Question: Can we apply for extra stalling?
Answer: Yes, you can complete a ‘Stalling Expression of Interest Form’. We cannot guarantee that we can offer extra spaces, however we will review stalling after the close of entries and will allocate Exhibitors an additional stall on the basis of the number of head each Exhibitor is bringing to the Show.
Question: Can Exhibitors bump-in Cattle earlier than they are scheduled with other Exhibitors’ Cattle?
Answer: Interstate travellers who want to bump-in earlier than scheduled must write a letter or email the Cattle Coordinator at cattle@rasnsw.com.au to request this. We cannot guarantee that we will have the space available, however will try to accommodate all requests as best we can.
