2009 Sydney Royal Horse Show - Important Exhibitor Information

Entry & Schedule Information

The 2009 Sydney Royal Horse Show online entry system will be open for entries mid/late October 2008. This simple online system will allow you to enter your personal details, horse details and performances, select the classes you wish to enter and pay instantly via credit card.

Alternately, the 2009 Horse Schedule and Entry Forms will be available for you to download, complete and post to the Horse Section for processing, however we strongly encourage use of the online entry system.  

New Fee Structure

The traditional process of submitting nomination fees separately from entry fees has been revised.  For the 2009 Show, the nomination fees will be combined with acceptance fees creating a simple once only entry fee payment.  All entries will need to be accompanied by full entry fee payment by the close of entry date.

Entries not accepted will be refunded part of the fee paid -  an administration fee of $11.00 will be retained per entry per class by the RAS of NSW.

Showjumping will continue with the traditional two part payment process. A non-refundable nomination fee per entry per class will be payable at the time of entry, with an acceptance fee payable upon notification of acceptance.

Closing Date of Entry

Entries for Breeds, Hacks, Harness and Riding Competitions will close on Monday 24th November 2008.

Microchip Requirements

Please note that it will continue to remain a condition of entry that all horses entered in competitive classes must be microchipped and recorded on the Australasian Animal Registry database.
