Frequently Asked Questions

Question: How do I enter a Judging Competition?
Answer: This depends on which Competition you wish to enter.

  • For Sydney Royal Judging Competitions, simply download an Application for Entry, complete and post it to the person listed for that Competition on page 5 of the Schedule.
  • For State Judging Finals, download an Application for Entry and submit it to the organisation listed for that Competition on page 5 of the Schedule, or contact the organisation directly for an application. Complete the application and submit it to the organisation which will forward approved applications to the RAS. Do not forward applications directly to the RAS. For RAS/ASC State Finals, you must be a finalist of a Group Final Competition held by a NSW Show Society under the auspices of the ASC.
  • For National Judging Finals, applications are available only to state finalists of Competitions held under the auspices of the relevant organisation.

Question: How old must I be to compete in a Judging Competition?
Answer: You must be at least 15 years old and not yet reached your 25th birthday as at 1 May 2008. Age requirements may vary for certain Competitions. Please check the Schedule.

Question: How do I obtain further information about the Competition?
Answer: To obtain further information, please contact the organisation or person listed on page 5 of the Judging Competitions Schedule.
