The Dairy Produce Committee of the RAS of NSW was pleased to have Mr Yves Boutonnat as the International Judge for the 2008 Sydney Royal Cheese & Dairy Produce Show.

The feature categories for the 2008 Sydney Royal Cheese & Dairy Produce Show were Dairy Desserts and Blue Cheese. The Champion Cheese of Show this year was awarded to King Island Dairy's Bass Strait Blue.

The Dairy Produce Committee was also pleased to announce the introduction of separate awards for Champion Dip & Champion Dairy Dessert and Most Successful Dip Exhibitor & Most Successful Dairy Dessert Exhibitor at the 2008 Show. Whereas previously these categories had been combined, due to such a significant increase in entries in 2007 and reflecting consumer trends in the marketplace, the Committee decided to award separate Champion & Most Successful Exhibitor Awards for each section in 2008.
