The Sydney Royal Dinner held on Friday 24 October 2008 was a great success and an enjoyable evening for all. On the night, 14 Champion awards were announced. A full list of all the Special Award winners is available here.

The five-course menu designed by Sydney Showground's Executive Chef Tim Browne incorporated Championship products and was accompanied with matching medal-winning wines. A selection of photos from the event has been posted in the image gallery.
